The Oregon Coast is by far one of the best places to take an Oregon vacation. Why? Along the coast, you have a variety of beach towns to choose from including Brookings, Gold Beach, Bandon, Coos Bay, Newport, Rockaway Beach and of course Seaside.

Don’t know when to visit the Oregon Coast? The easiest answer is anytime because it doesn’t matter if it’s winter, spring, summer or fall, the coast is always a beautiful place to visit that offers great attractions, places to stay, good food and plenty of attractions.

If you’re the type of person who enjoys live music, food, and fun events, the Portland area always has something to offer and you will never be disappointed when you visit.

Spring is an excellent time of year to visit the PDX area because everything is in bloom, including the Portland cherry tree blossoms which occur in late March to early April. There’s also a variety of local farms that grow tulips that you should visit in the spring in as well.

Don’t want to come during the spring? Why not visit Portland in the summer? The weather is cooler in the PDX area during the summer months than it is in other states during the summer months and if you feel like getting wet, the river is always a short drive away.

If Portland doesn’t sound appealing, why not visit Central Oregon during the summer months? Here you can go fishing, hiking, rock climbing and golfing during the summer months.

Central Oregon is also a great place to stay since there are plenty of hotels between Sisters and Bend, Oregon plus you can easily fly in or out of Central Oregon because Redmond’s airport has connecting flights to many locations in the United States.
