Fall 2021 is around the corner, can you believe it?
This year has gone by fast, and if you’re like some people you may be thinking about traveling to Oregon during the fall because it’s a great place to see fall colors.
If you never have traveled to Oregon during the fall, this article will provide you with tips on where to see some beautiful fall colors this year.
Mt. Hood Scenic Loop
This 146-mile drive is by far one of the best in an excellent opportunity to enjoy fall colors because you will drive along the Columbia River Gorge, Mount Hood, and also the orchards of the Hood River area.
Silver Falls State Park
Another excellent destination for fall colors is Silver Falls, State Park. Here, you will find brilliant fall colors, especially when you hike the Trail of Ten Falls.
From Brookings to Seaside, the Coast is an excellent place to view the state’s fall colors while you also have the beauty of the ocean as your backdrop as well.
Sisters, Redmond, Prineville, Bend and surrounding towns are all perfect areas in Central Oregon to witness the beauty of fall. What’s ideal about fall in Central OR is that in some years you can enjoy fall colors the wrap up the day by skiing or snowboarding on Mt Bachelor.
If you’ve never driven out to Eastern OR during the fall, you’ve missed out! There’s so much to see here from Pendleton, to Umatilla.
Last of all, but most important, another excellent destination for fall colors in Southern OR is the town of Klamath Falls. Here you will find excellent views and lots of hiking destinations for you to enjoy fall colors and everything that makes Oregon beautiful.
